Today I’m sharing with you guys some of my favourite pictures from my birthday last Sunday. I went home Saturday night and spent an amazing few days relaxing with my family. It was much needed! Exams are fast approaching and I’ve been busy working so I definitely needed some time at home with some of my most favourite people. I love having Scott around on my birthday morning. He came round last year too. I tend to wake him up really annoyingly by nudging him repeatedly saying ‘IT’S MA BIRTHDAY!’ until he relents and gets up with me. Hehehe, sorry, Scott 😉
We woke up for a birthday breakfast of pancakes, berries and juice. I got a few lovely presents from my family, including a beautiful parasol from Alex. A few years ago, when I was really in to vintage and antique bits, I said I wanted one. My little bro has remembered that for a few years and this year went on eBay and got me the most beautiful gift. I’ll be sharing it in another post along with all my other pressies in a gift guide! Scott caught this snap of me giving him a thank you hug. I love it! I miss my home and family so much and this wee man is one of the biggest reasons why!
After our Easter egg hunts (again, in a post to come!) we all got showered and changed then ate an amazing roast. We headed out for a walk around the river after that. Although the little town I’m from did feel too small and a little boring by the time I was finishing high school, it is beautiful in summer and great or long wanders as it is right in the countryside. This is one of our favourite routes which we mixed up a bit so we could go visit our top spot for paddling and swimming in the sunshine.
^^New favourite photo of us? I think so! Thanks for snapping, Alex!^^
^^I featured this outfit in a What We Wore post here. This little bit of the walk felt like a fairy kingdom!!^^
We all had such a lovely time. Thanks, wonderful family, you’re all so special.
