I spent the last couple of days with my man. He arrived Monday evening and I made chilli and carrot cake for dinner- it was delicious (if I may say so myself ;)). It was lovely to have a relaxed evening catching up, Above is a little snap of our brunch the next day! I bought the pain aux raisins from Lidl and heated them in the oven. We watched Friends while we ate… ‘scuse the filthy laptop screen!
Scott hadn’t seen my flat for next year yet so I took him down for a look around and he was sweet enough to snap a few shots of me while we were there 🙂 For anyone interested, the room we’re in is the current living room though it’ll be a bedroom next year instead. I’ll do a proper flat door later in the year!!Dress: H&M Cardigan: H&M Tights: M&S Boots: F&F @ Tesco Lips: Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush in #100 ‘Give Me A Cuddle’ with Mac Lovelorn lipstick.
After Scott saw the flat, we headed to the sweetest little cafe for lunch. We had a banana chilli smoothie… it was too hot for both of us! I had a burger though which was so incredible! We got chatting about summer. I’m staying in Glasgow to work while Scott goes home to do the same, so we were just having a chat about our plans. At first I think we both felt a bit bewildered by it all, the thought of spending long periods of time apart sucks! But then we realised, realistically, it’s going to be no different that how it is at the moment! It’s hard only seeing each other once a fortnight but we’re far more fortunate than many and every visit is exciting and fun and there’s always something to look forward to! I can’t wait to make memories in a new place for both of us, in Glasgow and in Stirling too 🙂
We spend the rest of the day charity shop trawling and had fajitas for tea! Scott is a man of many talents but he is so good when it comes to exploring charity shops and finding little treasures! Always know exactly what to look for!
Aww, how he makes me smile!! 🙂
I hope you guys are all having a good week and get lots of special moments with your favourite people!
P.S. Scott’s tee is from Next!
