Roaming is a new series I’m starting here on the blog. I’m going to share with you all the little adventures I go on, exploring places I visit. These will mainly be around Glasgow because this is where I spend most of my time and there is of course so much to see! I hope you enjoy.
I decided to walk around the Botanic Gardens today on my way home from university. I didn’t have my camera with me so these are just taken with my iPhone 4 but I’m going to be doing a second part to this post which will include photos I took with my camera when Dad visited in November! The gardens are of course not in full bloom at this time of year, but it’s lovely entering the glass houses to complete peace and quiet! It was so calming to just stroll around without bumping in to anyone else and only hearing the bubbling water and dripping trees. Sometimes you just need to spend 15 minutes completely by yourself to think about nothing and everything.
These gardens are so magical and I strongly recommend if you ever head this way, you take the time to explore all the different buildings and gardens. After all, it is free!
See you soon for #2 of my Botanics installment.
